    What is the best shot timer app, particularly for an iPhone? Please include features, strengths, weaknesses, and price.

    I went back to the standard timer.

    I don't expect a cheap app to replace a $100+ timer. Until I'm ready to invest in one, I just want a less expensive alternative in the mean time.

    If you're shooting outdoors the one called "shot timer" on iTunes works okay.

    Not for me it wasn't. I went and spent the money on a pocket pro.
    1911 when a follow up shot just isn't an option

    I bought a real one as well. The app is better than nothing but even for dry fire it was a huge pain to use. Having to slide to start and stop is a bad design imo. If they simply made it a button it would be better. Upgrading to a real timer is worth it.
