    TTI Mag Extensions

Ok so as stated in my thread the Hyve extensions for the G26 will not work on my older G26 mags because they are "thicker" at the base according to the Hyve rep. Kind of pissed because I like the look of those. I just ordered some Magpul Pmags for it and I'm picking them up from my LGS Friday or next Tuesday. On to my question and why I'm a little confused as heck.

I asked Taran Tactical if there TTI firepower basepads will work on the older G26 mags because the Hyve ones do not. The response was "unfortunately the only product they sell for the G26 are the +0."

I seriously just watched a video of Taran Butler showing off the base pads and he said they will work on the G26 and add 4 more rounds. So which is it. Do they work or not?

    Any thoughts.

There is nothing in their store listed for the G26.
So many weapons, so little time.

    You're right.

There's this: The Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK +0 base pad works on GLOCK models 17/ 17L /19 /26 /22 /23 /24 /27 /31 /32 /33 /34 /35. This GLOCK base pad does not add any extra rounds to the magazine, it does add extra weight to magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. Since this base pad does not add capacity to your magazine it is perfect for people that live in states with high-capacity laws.

On the +3/4 extension, the web site does NOT state that it will work on the 26.The Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK +3/4 base pad works on GLOCK models 17/17L/22/24/34/35. Same thing goes for the +5/6 pads.

I'm wondering if it is a liability thing. They don't design it for the G26 and don't want to take responsibility if people try to use it. Because I have seen many videos showing that they work on the G26. I guess I can buy a few and try them out. Can always put them on my G19 mags if they don't work.

I definitely want to hear whether they work on your G26!

It is 100% John Wick's fault that I own a Glock 34 - although without all the fancy TTI work - and at least 50% his fault that I own a Benelli.
