I like the stuff from The Beltman. Their belts have lasted me for years without sagging and I carry a S&W 45c. Quick delivery, especially if you order stuff in stock, instead of special orders.---Sturgis

    1.5" Beltman.

I've had one for about 5+ years and it is still great! Not cheap, but does what it was meant to, and looks good as well. I need another, just to have a brown one, but I do not feel the need to look any further.

I'm with Sturgis & BigJon10125 thebeltman.net.....Horse hide is the stiffest, at 1.5 inches you could probably tow a truck with it!

I've got two Ultimate Gun Belts from A Better Belt USA that I've been very happy with. However, were I in the market I think I'd check out one of the makers of the infinitely adjustable belts that are easily made looser or tighter without having to unbuckle. There are several makers, but I'd start with Kore. https://www.koreessentials.com/colle...ced-belt-set-1

Tried quite a few belts over the years. Favorites are 1.5" Wilderness 5 stitch with traditional of frequent flyer buckles. They seem to work very well for both IWB and OWB and I definitely prefer the infinite adjustment of this belt style.

As much as I like leather holsters I find the synthetic material construction better for my belt reality.

I am not the only one whose Kore belt broke in just a few weeks. The plastic strip inside broke, leaving a very noticeable break/gap. I wear this belt very seldom so it's not like it had a lot of use. That defect was the subject of another thread but I'm not sure which forum it was on.

To the OP: If you want to use a holster with your gun belt, it is best to stick to 1 1/2" wide because very few clips or loops come in a size to go over a 2" belt.

I use a 1-3/4. Everything I could ever need to put on a belt will fit on it.
