    Glock 48 Sight Question

Two days ago I bought a new Glock 48 with the plastic OEM sights. Does anyone know the distance that Glock uses on the 48 to "zero" the sights so POA = POI? Today from a bench rest at 5 yards my groups were very tight and very slightly above and to the right of POA. My sight picture was center hold on the bullseye which Glock told me in 2014 was correct for the factory plastic sights.

I know you can determine the height of the Glock rear plastic sight by the dash line configuration on the side of the sight. I have read that all Glocks use the same front sight height but the rear sights are different heights depending on the gun. Does anyone one know the height of a Glock plastic front sight?

Sights have always been confusing to me, especially what height and width to choose when buying iron sights. I have read that POA/POI is dependent on target distance and ammo used. I called Dawson Precision and they helped me choose the correct sights for the 48. I already have Dawson sights on my G17, 30 and S&W M&P 22 Compact.

    Thanks for your help!

You are welcome Bill. I think the Dawson sight will be a little taller but bought as a set it will be correctly paired with the rear.
