Illinois HB2043 and Washington SB5172 would require any legislator that wants to introduce a firearm related bill to show proof of firearm training ... freaking AWESOME!
Can I write the final exam they have to take?

Yeah, they need to know something about firearms before introducing legislation. Even if they do have firearm training that won't prevent the anti-2A people from using scare tactics to promote their agenda. We need a law that requires people to tell the truth.

It's illegal to lie to Congress. How come it's not illegal for Congress to lie to us, their employers?

But, in some cases, there were duplicate bills in the same chamber. I think I saw one instance of three bills with similar purpose in a single chamber. Our tax dollars hard at work.

The only common sense gun legislation was written about 227 years ago.

I carry always not because I go places trouble is likely, but because trouble has a habit of not staying in its assigned zone.
