I did my part for the 2A today

After much deliberation, I went with a Daniel Defense DDM4 V7. This model in particular:

Adventure Outdoors had them on sale at a decent price; I was going to pick up a regular DDM4 V7, but after comparing triggers, I splurged an extra $250. There are some other extras as well, but the trigger is what sold it.

I'm going to start out with some good irons and then maybe some optics.

I've wanted a 5.56 for a while. Trying to choose a first modern sporting rifle was a chore, however. There are so many options, and you can quickly suffer from analysis paralysis. I finally decided to get a Daniel Defense when I drove by the DD building on I-16 on my way to St. Simons a few weeks ago. I love this state of Georgia, so I'm happy with my money helping out the locals.

What really pushed me to make the decision was all this silly talk about banning these kinds of guns. I figured I'd do what I can to inflate the sales numbers, and poke each gun-grabber in the eye with my purchase. Screw 'em!

A friend of my has some land up north, and I'll take it out there to give it a run. Range report sometime in the future...

    Solid choice.

I usually wait for the night before a presidential election to add another black rifle...

There's an AR pistol coming in the near future.

Daniel Defense makes really high quality rifles from what I have been able to learn about them.

    Nice rifle. Enjoy.
Maybe if we all went out and bought one more every time they propose a ban they will figure out that it is having the opposite effect they are hoping for.
Naw they are not that smart.
Do not be afraid folks, support your local gun shop.
