To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.
That statement alone to me is a direct infringement of the 2nd Amendment.

Got a gun that takes a magazine and has a threaded barrel? Rifle? Pistol? Don't matter.

Feinswine at work again. This is dated 01/19. Same BS she's been pushing for years now.

"(A) A semiautomatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any 1 of the following:

    (i) A pistol grip.

    (ii) A forward grip.

(iii) A folding, telescoping, or detachable stock, or is otherwise foldable or adjustable in a manner that operates to reduce the length, size, or any other dimension, or otherwise enhances the concealability, of the weapon.

    (iv) A grenade launcher.

    (v) A barrel shroud.

    (vi) A threaded barrel."

"capacity" meaning possible. I read that as anything that can possibly have a thredded barrel is banned which is, well just about every gun.

I see it's from January. Doesn't Feinstein intro this bill every year?

Several of the co-sponsors are also running for prez in 2020. Surprise!

Many shotguns have threaded barrels for screw in chokes. Guess that makes them dangerous too being that they have threaded barrels.

I will introduce my comment, mayhap a selfish one? I have all the guns I require. Sitting in my ratty old dressing gown pocket is my latest, a Glock43X and the other pocket. My Cell phone.
The rest live in a sturdy safe. The most modern alarm system is fitted to my Town House. Ten minutes max response time. Miss Feinstein is as mad as a hatter, and an ugly old Bat as well.

I watched the last Rally our President ran. Packed inside, and out! Roll on twenty/twenty!

So since the M1 Garand uses a clip and not a magazine, does that make it exempt? An en bloc clip is not a magazine and not really detachable, more ejectable.

It would be difficult to comment on this without being as long winded as the proposed legislation. There are too many people in government that want to have control over us when the Founders intended to prevent that from happening. There's no doubt that our liberty is being eroded.
