Sitting on a stool, 100 yards unsupported. A 4" round target. Little low but a 2" group at the bottom.

Ruger American Rimfire 22 LR with Trijicon Dual RMR.

CCI 40 gr jacket at 100 yards.

Used to shoot the ground squirrels in WA with my old Win 72 at ranges from 20-100+ yards. .22 LRs got too easy, so I switched to shorts. A six-inch tall, 2-3 inch wide target at 100 yards can be tricky in the wind, but a lot more went down than were missed. Great fun on a weekend.

Looking good. If you were holding on the center of the orange, then 5-6 inches low at 100 yards is about right for a .22 LR, depending on your zero.

Thanks. 25 yard zero. Next time out will figure how much of the triangle to hold over. Best guess is half.

Lookin good...i need to get my Pops old 10/22 out for some plinking.
Cheap fun. Really like the rifle setup. Compact stock, short barrel. Lightweight with the RMR. The rifle is good value for the money.

Thanks. Wanted to up my rifle game so worked on it over the last 6 months or so. Seems like the old skills from flintlock matches are still there.

BTW, the Ruger American Rimfire is my shtf get to the holler rifle.

That's not a bad SHTF firearm to get to what you need. I too need to up my rifle game as well. I take my AR-15 for a spin periodically along with my Mossberg 590A1L shotgun. I'm more of a pistol guy but long guns need love too! :D

Same here, handguns are more of a focus. But having a rifle skillset is good too. Especially in these crazy times.

A 22=rifle is light in weight, can haul a bunch of ammo, can hunt with it, etc.

I have a Henry Evil Roy with a Williams aperture sight mounted on the receiver. Every time I let people at our club range shoot it, they end up grinning. One liked it so much he bought one for himself.
It’s hard to beat a Henry lever rifle.😄
