I may already be known here for not being a total 1991 guy. However - to do my best for Bud, will post pics of good ol' Sistema, P12-45 and for sh**s and giggles, my wall display commemorative too.!!

I dont have a digital camera, so this pic is pretty old.

Not pictured is my Para Companion (even though its not a 1911, its worth mentioning), my parked SA mil-spec, or my 5" Kimber Classic Stainless.

Starting at the left, its my Kimber Polymer Stainless, Colt 1991A1, Kimber Compact Stainless, and my AMT Hardballer (yeah, its a little out of place in my collection).

All Kimbers are series none, my Colt is about to be sold. I found another tommygun that I cant afford, and the Colt hasnt been out of the safe in a while. So I'm gonna use it to generate fundage.

ExSoldier762,
Sorry, just the litt'lun is mine! :silly: The rest belong to my dad, brother, and a friend. Now my brother's Colt Officer's (at the bottom) has been in my safe for over a year, so maybe that's mine by default?

FortyFive,
They are all Colts.

I don't have a camera but somehow got to get my .45 picture up here.
You can send it to me and I'll take a picture of it. I'll shoot it for you and keep it for you, too.

Just bud please ... I like it fits my hands better soon everyone of my 1911's but the engraved colt will have them. Try to find someone with one installed some people dont like the arched

I'll try to find one. I would like to force the area under the beavertail more positively into the web of my strong hand.

I took the WC frontstrap off of my pistol tonight and replaced it with some non-skid tape that I cut to fit. I was able to slide the WC frontstrap up and down the frontstrap with just my fingers. The magazine basepad must have been what was keeping it on the pistol. It also may have contributed to my grip problems with this pistol.

I use the non-skid tape on the front and backstraps of my Ruger P95, and it works very well for me.
