Guys
This was one deal I couldn't refuse. Remember that Beretta 92F I got about a month ago for 375.00 with the Lasermax installed in it? (there's a pic somewhere in another thread just in case you need to look)
Well, I was in Maine today, took the Beretta 92F and brought it with me just to see what it would get in trade. I was astounded with I was offered 575.00 in trade towards another item in the store. I quickly scanned the counters and found a Smith Shorty Forty Mk3 (it was originally 575.00 marked down to 465.00 due to it's been hanging in the shop fo over a year. This was my chance to snag it, and I did. It came from the Performance Center #PWC025X
with box papers extra mag. The gun hasfactory adjustible sights and was Mag-na-Ported
I also had my XD40 on lay away and took the $$ to snag a Glock 26 for 345.00 that had just walked in the door. (the guy had traded it as I was sitting there) Came with Box, paperwork, extra mag, AND 15 shot G19 mag! I took the $$ off the SA XD and quickly placed it with $110.00 from my pocket and got both guns. take a look and tell me what you think. I know, LOL, you guys know I'm not a Glock-a-Aolic, BUT I couldn't resist that deal!

LOL.......sorry Chris.. Guess I'm on a roll.. I paid 375.00 for the beretta, and got 200.00 over what I paid for it.. I recently found some 4006's for 295.00 prety good shape too. I also found a few Sig 228's with Crmson Trace grip for 495.00... the S&W 4046's are 295.00 also..ALL with Live night sights as well.
The Shorty Forty was beggin me to buy it long time ago, but I couldn't/ wouldn't buy it for almost 600.00 bucks.. the Glock fell from the sky.. I just happened to be there to catch it.. BTW, I'm usually a day late and a few bucks short, but i come across those deals at times. Must be making up for all those raw deals I got years ago.. LOL

Guys
Like I've been telling you. I do come across a lot of good deals at times, give me your "Christmas lists" and I'll look for you, take a picture of it, and tell you where I found it. I'll also take a pic of the price of the gun, so you know what it costs. The sigs and S&W 4006 and 4046 series guns (LEO Trade-ins at 295.00 ea) were found at Riley's sport shop in hooksett NH.. the have a web site based on their name. Also, the other place I frequent is in Kittery Maine..
I get around a lot. I stop at almost every gun shop I run across..
But yes, that Beretta/ S&W Shorty deal was a good one (I found some at an Auction house selling for 1050.00) That's why I hopped on it. The Glock 26 was just something extra I found, and couldn't live without
Thanks for the positive feedback on that deal.. I'm dying to shoot em both I'll end in a range report for both of them

CLASS3NH, Betcha that you was at Kittery Tradeing Post. Lived in NW Maine for 18 years and had my FFL. Used to frequent the store when it also was Shawmut Dist. Found some great deals there. There is just something about a store that has tonz o' gunz. They almost always have a great deal or two. You found yours. Great buy!!------

I've also had my FFL on file with Kittery and Shawmut for a long time til I gave it up <frown> Yup, "tons-O-Guns" is correct I couldn't resist that temptation to turn in the Beretta for the other two guns I got.. I also placed the other Shorty Forty on hold for a friend of mine. He saw mine today, took it out and shot it, and asked me to place the Shorty on hold for him, til he gets up there tomorrow.
LOL.I do run into a few good deals from time to time.. Just making up for all the deals I lost money on. Maybe it's a "AARP" thing they see me coming, and feel bad for this "Old Fart" LOL......either way, I'm going out in a couple of days and shoot these new toys I got.. will update Ya'll on how they perform
Psssssst <whispering> QK and Chris? ya gotta get up this way with your checkbooks and bring home a few deals for yourselves

CLASS3NH, is Reilly's in Hookset on Rte. 3A? I think I drove by it everyday between Manchester and Dunbarton. I had to stop every morning at the Citgo station there for some coffee and breakfast.

Riley's is on Rt 3 in Hooksett. Thye have a very good selection of weapons in there, but they're also negotiable on the tags. (usually 25.00 to 50.00 cheaper on the tags with cash or plastic)
they're also a Class3/ title 2 dealer and LEO trade-in dealer. They currently have a lot of traded Sigs and S&W's in 40 cal. They also have a lot of Glocks that are trade-ins. I do better at Kittery than I do in Hooksett.
