.22 Yay or Nay (From Concealed Nation on FaceBook)

I carry .40S&W and somewhere along the way i would like to have a .45, .357 Magnum and a .38
Other than using A Ruger SR22 for training and practice, I would prefer to have something heavier to use in a real world SHTF situation.
But what say you?

I do not want any .22 for use as a personal defense gun. For practice and fun, I can't do without the .22 but for gunfighting I won't be carrying one, no matter how small and cute it may be.
