More gun regulations approved by California Senate

My Commentents: The stupid law abiding serfs in CA who don't pay attention are about to all become felons, a couple of times over. And CA wonders why the crime rate is approaching Chicago levels in Oakland and, very not reported LA?

(Note: Cannot cut and paste a synopsis, so please go to the link below.)

Origional Post: Capitol Alert: More gun regulations approved by California Senate

Updated from Guns.com: California Senate: approves 8 gun control bills, including ammo registry (VIDEO)

........It should also be noted that on Tuesday, yesterday, the state Senate also approved a SB 108, which would require all gun owners to keep their firearms under lock and key whenever they leave their property.

“A gun is left on a dresser, a kitchen table, and the responsible adult is not there. And somehow a child picks it up, plays with it, and does harm to him- or herself,” said Senator Leland Yee (D-San Francisco), who touted the bill as a way to reduce accidental gun deaths involving children.

Gun owners who fail to secure or safely store their firearms while absent from their home will be liable should anything happen.

My Comments: I don't have any children in my home and it is well alarmed and guarded.....and if I had small children present, I would take precautions......this is about using 'the children' as an excuse.... Note: the death rate of children and firearms, self inflicted, in CA are way below skateboard deaths. Foxtrot Uniform to them. These people will say anything and lie to justify what they want!

Here is the video (Hat Tip to Guns.com).

I was born and raised in San Diego, and left when I was of age to join the military. I grew up thinking 10 day cool off periods and celebrity only ccw was the norm for the US. Now I take every available opportunity to educate my CA family on 2A issues.

And they have not a clue as to what they are looking at, a modern semi-auto rifle.

"I pity the fool(s)!" [/Mr. T voice]

The poor, stupid sheep in California.

This fixes nothing, criminalizes law abiding citizens, and causes an undue monetary cost on the poor, who may not be able to afford to defend themselves now, with required classes, extra $, and time away from work.

Ought to be a legal challenge on the basis of discrimination against the poor, or some other "slick" means to make the do-gooders take their own liberal medicine.

Yeah, I got tapatalk, too. So what?

Some states I hate to say are, I fear a lost cause beyond saving because of their populations. Perhaps we need a couple of them around to keep the rest of us on our toes to keep it from spreading where we live. Darn shame though.

I just sent a personal Thank You note to Sheriff Wilson. He has big Brass Ones, especially in CA where the Progressive Left Machine will eat you politically!

I agree and I don't even understand it. I feel like more and more people up north (namely in NY/NJ) are starting to get tired of it and see it for what it is. Especially after the whole debacle that the NY SAFE Act has become along with the ruling that the police have no duty to protect. Don't forget the surveillance-crazed mayor either.

Then you have places like Chicago, the murder capital of the country. You'd think that with gang crime and whatnot being at the rate it is people would start to ask for gun laws to be repealed and relaxed. Apparently they aren't doing any bit of good over there.

The funny thing is, the subtle backlash is happening. Even the Progressive Leftist Judges and Illon-noise Judges are getting fed up with the crime.

Actually, outside of Chic-t-cago, the rest of the state is fairly normal = moderate or conserative.

Motivating. For "libnut" legislators bent on power, that is. Feinstein is a case in point. Chuckie-baby (Schumer) is another. Ad infinitum.

I think the Mars Attacks solution might be useful. We need a good asteroid or something, dropping right on DC.
