Took a little different approach on the blog this week and ran a head to head test with Buffalo Barnes and Corbon DPX.

Since my personal preference is to practice with carry ammo, the solid copper hollow points are way out of my budget. I do enjoy testing them and sharing the results with those that do like and carry them.

Once again, a demonstration that .380 JHPs do not meet the FBI penetration standard. Fer crying out loud, just use FMJ flat points! You can actually afford to practice with them, too...and ensure they feed in your pistol!

Kind of makes me wonder if Corbon is doing something during their forming process that may be work-hardening their copper JHPs.
