I really love my Galco Royal Guard IWB(or its cheaper cowhide cousin the summer comfort) I wore it all day this past summer while at work, and it performed admirably. I carry a Kimber Pro Carry II 4"

What IWB would be best?
Generally something with loops a couple inches away from the holster body for a couple of reasons:

1: The holster will be thinner
2: With the attachment points spread further out the rig will be more stable and the weight associated with an all steel 1911 will be more evenly distributed.

I prefer the Milt Sparks VersaMax II, but there are several good alternatives of that general design.

This is easy. I have about a thousand dollars worth of top shelf holsters, but I wish I had bought the Crossbreed Supertuck first. I have Supertucks for my 1911s (it fits them all) and for my G19/G32, and I have a MiniTuck for my PM9. I cannot tell you how much more comfortable and utilitarian the Crossbreed IWB holsters are than everything else I have tried. I'm not going to denigrate the other brands by name because they make a good product, but Crossbreed solved the problem, everyone else is still trying.
