Why would the G19M be a 3 pin and the G17M be a 2 pin?
I've been thinking the same thing. Cheap 19's and 23's coming soon. The best thing about this for me is that if true, then there should be a good amount of good condition, used Gen4 G19 models at decent prices! I don't mind the finger grooves. I guess I am one of the guys that is a lucky fit. Well, that or I am just not discerning enough to know the difference!
Dude, it's on the internet and has been through the very precise, upstanding, and legitimate AR15.com, also heard that Brian Williams was involved in the design. IT IS SO VERY BEYOND TRUE, TAKE IT TO THE BANK!We don't even know if this is an accurate depiction of a possible Gen 5 G19. From the article referenced:
A picture of the G19M leaked several weeks ago to AR15.com, but the source of the photo was unknown, and it was impossible to tell if this was in fact a real 5th generation Glock, or just a very well done bit of photoshop.
I think somebody's been messing around in photoshop.Why would the G19M be a 3 pin and the G17M be a 2 pin?
Because the general public can not be trusted with all of those military assault machine upgrades.I'm a bit confused; I read another article about the M series and it was reported that this will not be available to the general public, but I don't understand why.
Upgrades include:
Smoother edges for better draw
Ambi slide release
Ambi mag release
Flared magazine well
and a modified trigger.
Why would this not be available to the general public? is there more to it?
It will probably be available as a Gen5, not as the M whatever. ..I'm a bit confused; I read another article about the M series and it was reported that this will not be available to the general public, but I don't understand why.

Or in case there is some.....problem.It will probably be available as a Gen5, not as the M whatever. ..
A good theory on this was that Glock wants to see civilian relactions to the M prior to a civilian roll out in the event anychanges need to be made etc.

Unless you're I dunno, left handed, or a competitor that wants a better magwell on a Production gun, want a better finish or don't like the finger grooves....This would be a stupid design for a gen5, hopefully they do better. This is just a highly specialized gun for the FBI, it doesn't really offer any benefits for the typical commercial consumer.
If this is the gen 5, I'm not interested one bit. Luckily there's no evidence that this is the gen5. What's the point of this gun being available to the public? Really?
Ok let me be more clear because what I said before wasn'tUnless you're I dunno, left handed, or a competitor that wants a better magwell on a Production gun, want a better finish or don't like the finger grooves....
So yeah, I'm all of those but left handed. I'd buy one.

If I got to pick what the combination of mods which should mark the new standard, the guns would look like this:Ok let me be more clear because what I said before wasn't
There are plenty of people who would like these modifications for their gun, I'm not doubting that. But do you really think this combination of mods should be the new standard? I would say absolutely not. Especially not the flared mag well
A G17 isn't exactly meant to be a carry gun, I doubt the 19 will have the flared magwell.Ok let me be more clear because what I said before wasn't

Opppps...started another thread on this...Didn't see this one. You can hatchet the one I started if you like.Or in case there is some.....problem.
