I thought I might show off this rig. It is for a 5" 1911 with a single and double carrier in full front shark. The double carrier is for a mag and a flashlight.

Shark rig

WOW. I love a good shark rig.

Alot of topography!! Very nice combo...
As a fellow maker, I love to build 'em but I cry when they look that nice, because I want to keep it in the shop for myself. LOL.

Nice gear you have there sir Great work, I've never been into exotics but after seeing all the nice gear on these forums I've started to be bitten I love the 1911 also, there is just something about a nice 1911 that I can't help but like.

How do you like the combo flashlight mag pouch? Do you feel it's worth dropping one mag for the flashlight?(compared to a double mag pouch of course)

One last question about shark When you finish your shark hide does it still retain any of the sandpaper feel or is it supple like regular cow or horse hide? I bought some to do some testing but it seems to feel like sandpaper and I've not actually handled any sharkhide that anyone else has done.
