Picked one of these up for the heck of it For my Glock 17.
Looked at all the paper work that came with it and said great off to a bad start right one it Says dont use Fedrals Well thats all i use so well see.
Off to the range today swapws the 17's 9mm top end for the 22 in about 10 seconds.
Loaded the mags first 8 are easy but the last 2 you do need the loading tool for hope this will change as it gets shot more.
One thing you notice is there is not weight to the thing at all frame weighs nothing and neither does the conversion kit really.
Slide is made of aluminum with Glock adjustable sights .. I got the L.E. model as target sights looked to weird.
The kit will fit the 17-22-24-31-34-35 and 37
So rack a round in and off we go no recoil what so ever dont even really feel the impulse of the slide running. Slide locks back when Mag is empty.
has 2 problems today well 3
#1 shooter error didnt have mag seated far enough mags need add on slam pad for my tatse but thats just me First round went off no second round.. do the Tap rack and bang drill and off we go..
#2 Shoot Error again not me this time my uncle managed to get 11 round in the 10 round mag wouldnt strip the round out the mag i had to pry it out with a Key..
#3 Well this one is my Fault to Kit comes with 1 mag i got 2 extras for 3 and its just not enough ya need about 7-8 Mags 10 rounds just goes so fast..
Changes i would like to see..
Longer mag plate or slam pads
How about about 2 mags with it jezz
Also just a tad bit more weight.
It actually needs a little more at the muzzle it is way light ..
Thing a Weight that attaches under the barrel just a few Oz would be good they make um ill check it out.
We ran almost a Brick of Ammo though it had 30Rounds left when range time ran out for uncle so we headed out will shoot again tomm.
Im very happy with the conversion kit Everyone who has a glock should have one there great espically for first time shooters i think..
Last time i took a newbie out they complaned the ruger was to heavy that wont be a problem with this thing..
Some other changes i think ill make and report back are 3.5 Connector and trigger stop .
Ohh year forgot to say how it grouped well just as good as anyother 22 the sight are the Std glock fodder and those sure arent target sights but get the job done.
