Go to Alien Gear's website and see if they have anything to offer. Very reliable and comfortable and nicely priced.

Crossbreed makes a more pricey product but likely the best for IWB as a solid platform.
I've got a stealth IWB Mini for my MPShield and really like it. However, at present time they don't have one for the EMP-4
High Noon Holsters: Bare Asset. After trying so many different holsters, this is the one that I choose for all of my carry guns now. And they're affordable enough to have them for a number of different guns.

Lightweight, unobtrusive, quick to clip on or remove from the belt. Always in stock for a wide variety of pistol models, and ready to ship for less than $29. Always a good snug fit without having to pay for a moulded holster. So comfortable to use that it almost makes it feel like you're not carrying a gun.

I use my Bare Asset G21SF model holster with my M&P40 also. Good, snug fit with either gun. The holster is cut for the G21SF, so the M&P40 muzzle extends a little beyond. No biggie.

Crossbreed!

Just as important as the holster is a good belt designed for carrying a pistol. Crossbreed makes belts also.
thanks for the replies.

Have contacted a few. However, the ones i've contacted are not yet making their holsters for the EMP-4 9MM.

STILL LOOKING
If you are looking for quality leather, Wright Leather Works makes their entire line for your pistol. I have carried my Shield in their OWB "Predator" for about 3 years and the fit and retention are still spot on. It doesn't get any better than their workmanship

I did some digging. The Bare Asset is in stock for 3" EMP models now:
Bare Asset | High Noon Holsters |

With that, your 4" would leave some muzzle extending from the holster, which doesn't present a problem with an IWB holster.

If you contact High Noon, I'm sure they will tell you when the EMP 4" version will be available. These are very good holsters, especially for the great low price below $30.
I use a N8 Squared Pro. VERY comfortable holster. I don't know if they make one for your weapon, but I would look into it. I can't recommend it highly enough. I've been wearing mine all day with a full sized pistol, with no fatigue or discomfort of any kind. Not cheap at $70, but it's worth every penny. Great product.
Talk to nelson leather !

If there is a blue gun for it he can get it and make it !

It really depends on what you're wanting/willing to spend. Did you want all leather? Hybrid? All Kydex?

The old axiom "You get what you pay for rings true".

Don't drop $800+ on a handgun only to stick it in a $20 holster.

It's akin to a guy buying a $3,000 Mountain Bike...and buying a $40 car rack to carry it around on.

You're going to end up with a bunch of different holsters...until you find "The one".

This is true. I've got a big box full of them. I'm done spending a lot of money trying out a variety of fancy holsters because I did find "the one". It is possible to get an excellent holster without spending a lot of money IF you buy the right one. Most cheap holsters aren't very good. But I found one $30 leather holster that really is good.
I will say that knowing what you're generally after and doing research online reaps benefits. My main issue was comfort and retention, because I would be carrying a pistol with a 4.25 inch barrel. Kept coming back to the N8 Pro with those two criteria, repeatedly. I don't regret that eventual purchase one iota. Point being, know what you're after, and research to that end. There are a lot of fantastic holsters out there. Carrying is a VERY personal decision, and your choice of equipment in doing so is the same.
You'll get a large variety of replies to a question like this, as everyone will have their preference. Do you want an all leather holster, leather & kydex? Do you want to carry IWB, or OWB? For my $.02, check out TT Gunleather. Outstanding craftsmanship. For IWB, check out his Mike's Special. For OWB, check out his OWB High Ride and Mid Ride Pancakes. I finally went OWB after tiring of buying larger pants and belts. No difference in concealment with a slightly longer and bit larger shirt IMO. And, IMO, OWB is far easier and more comfortable..... But that's JMHO after a drawer full of other holsters. But, welcome to the tribe, and the journey to find the holster that best suits your needs. The first one you buy won't be the last.

First i want to thank everyone that replied. Great advice and recommendations.
I was looking for a leather holster, one that would last a long time and well made and quality. Thought i would have to buy two, one IWB and one OWB. After a lot of searching i did find a holster maker that both in one. Pure Kustom Holster (www.purekustomholsters.com). I spoke with Rocky (the owner and maker) on Sunday and he answered all my question. I ended getting his Black Ops Pro. I hope to be receiving it by Saturday. Will show pictures as soon as i can.

thanks again.

Opinions vary, but I really like my N82 Pro for my Glock 17. This is the best for hot/humid climates and became my primary holster when I lived in FL. I also have a Blackhawk 3 slot pancake for winter carry.

I know the OP made his choice, but I agree with you. I have carried using that holster in 100 degree heat index weather with no issues.
I am trying to get in touch with Privateer Leather do any of you know if they are still in business or not.Have tried to contact them 4 times no response?
Thanks
Rick
Look at the Silent Thunder from Garrett Industries. I have one for my 9mm Shield. Unbelievably comfortable and although it is Kydex, it is lined with Hermann Oak leather. The best of all worlds. Silent Thunder Solo

Since the OP made his choice, I guess the link may prove helpful to others.
