Nope. You're a member of the seemingly increasing crowd now just starting to emerge from the closet. It won't be long until we see some 'I Hate Glock' bumper stickers. That is of course for those who don't hate bumper stickers. This subject has come up an awful lot recently.....right here in the forum. I don't know how the mods here look at threads like this, but if it were me, I might start my own "I hate threads who's subject is: 'I hate Glocks'" How would that grab ya?Am i the only one who doesn't....
You are not alone guy. There are tons of people who love them and tons who hate them. I fall in the middle. I love the simplicity of them, the ruggedness and the low bore axis. But, the grip doesn't fit my hand well and the grip angle just makes the gun point high for me.
I have been shooting handguns for around 35 years and own around 30 handguns currently, many different makes, types and models, both semi's and revolvers. Up to a few momths ago I felt the same way about Glocks. I had handled and shot Glocks many times before but for some reason (maybe a mental block or the grip angle) never really cared for them. But a few months ago, just for the heck of it I went ahead and purchased a G19 and after spending quality time with the Glock I now truly appreciate them for what they are; solid, reliable and simple to own and operate. I have since purchased a G26 and carry it often. Buy one and give the Glock a try. Someone will buy it from you if you still do not care for them after you give it a good workout. I still like shooting my 1911's, CZ's and Hi Powers more but Glocks are a fine CCW weapon for sure. And I must admit, if I had to bug out and could only have one handgun, the G19 looks real good. You tend to like them more when they are yours.....kind of like kids!
