Andrews Custom Hybrid Holster

Well I received my new hybrid saddle holster from Andrews Custom Leather yesterday, wow was I impressed. I knew that I was going to like the hybrid but I had no idea how much. This has to be the most comfortable holster I've ever worn. It rides high and close to the body just the way I like it. I thought my Alessi was nice but this new hybrid is even better. The deep cut in the front of the holster significantly reduces the draw of a full sized 1911. I was a little worried at first about how secure my Kimber Custom TLE II would be but it didn't take long for that to pass. After inserting my kimber in the holster I found that this will not be a problem. I held the holster upside down with the kimber in it and shook it up & down and the pistol stayed secure in the holster. Concealment with this holster is not a problem either, the last 2 days I've been wearing it I've worn an untucked polo shirt over it and had no worries about printing or exposure.
The workmanship and quality of this holster is outstanding and is the nicest holster I now own. Dealing with Sam Andrews was hassel free and he is very helpfull.
If you are looking for a high quality owb holster then this one is it, I can't say enough about this holster and I've only had it for 2 days. The price is right at $95 dollars and it was worth the wait. I know my next holster will be from Andrews and it will most likely be his Monarch shoulder rig.
I will try to post some pics later tonight.

I met Mr. Andrews at a gun show recently. He was a very nice man, and he was very willing to discuss his product and answer questions.
Sam is a very nice guy. I came very close to buying his McDaniel II holster but decided to go with Brommeland instead due to Gary's holster having two belt loops. I am sure I would have been pleased with the Andrews as well.
Sam Andrews...yep, another classic craftsman.

Beautiful holster! :yup: ~ Congrats & wear it in good health.

Also...I don't remember ever reading or hearing anything bad about The Monarch shoulder rig. The harness system is Super Nice. It is a Top Notch shoulder holster.

You'd like the McDaniel II I have three of them and a double shoulders rig from same. Hope to get my holster in from Gary in 4 or 5 weeks. :image035:
