???? In-Range TV is alive & well on "youse tub"! Karl just posted a day or two ago, with a rant about some one "trying to get him to endorse them"!

I'm not sure that's what they meant by "gun porn".

I have spent extensive time searching for his channel on the new website. I haven't found it yet, but I am determined. Don't worry. I'll post a link if I find....when I find it.

Well, I guess I'll never see anything by Karl.

Aside from Pornhub, there are no other platforms on the internet?

I heard he is not on Pornhub. Something about not meeting their ethical standards!

There are alternatives to YouTube if you just want to get content out there. But a lot of these YouTube channels have become money makers, because YouTube has the big audience. What these folks are really complaining about is not free speech, but loss of income. There are other online venues to exercise your free speech.

YouTube is also a business and they get to run their site how they see fit. They are not a public utility. I don't agree with YouTube's choices, or the underhanded ways they go about enforcing them. But everyone who has a channel there agrees to their terms to set the channel up. Those people have no standing to complain when YouTube exercises those terms.

The guy who wrote the article was complaining that the rules are not very clear and seem to change daily depending on what the social justice dejour is that day.
What is acceptable one week is verboten the next.
Hard to follow rules which change with whatever the wind is blowing that day.
It is their business but if what he says is true it is poorly run.
I believe in freedom of speech and these online businesses I believe are getting close to be considered a news source and as such should make the platform open to all points of view

It would be nice if YouTube was open to all speech, but they have chosen the Liberal route of censorship, same with Twitter and Face Book.

Until a Conservative group comes along and starts a platform that really IS open to all, nothing we can do except gripe about it ...like we're doing now.
At least here we CAN gripe about it without fear of being banned.

YouTube, like Twitter and other sites have to decide whether they are a platform or a publisher. They say one thing and do another.
