Transplanted, that is, from the Heart of Dixie courtesy of Uncle Sam's establishment at Ft. Bragg. Retired now though, a genuine useless civilian at last.

Too many of the 'usual suspects' here for me to stay away, all y'all troublemakers straighten up and fly right now 8^).

Thanks, all. Yes, it's the same ol' me as at THR and other venues. My service was on the civil side, not the military, but I was still sworn in with the same oath. Retirement is nice no matter where from. It's been just over a year now and I am still loving it.

Closer to Pembroke (Robeson Co.) than anywhere else on the map- my wife teaches at the UNC campus there.
