Don't ya know? Only the all-knowing, all-responsible, all-intelligent, all-caring elite politicians have the right to keep and bear arms. Regular people are too ignorant, irresponsible, uneducated red necks; they'll shoot their eye out.

Can't recall the details off hand, but there have been other similar incidents in years past, including a couple involving anti-gun journalists.

My memory may be faulty but I think it was Carl Rowen who turned pro-gun after he was assaulted and mugged about 15-20 years ago.

It was Carl Rowan that shot a fellow, but it wasn’t in self defense, it was in his yard with a gun loaned to him by his FBI employed son.

If I recall correctly it was a FBI issue firearm, could be wrong on that but I don’t think so.

Nothing that I know of came of it, to his son who illegally loaned a gun out nor to Carl Rowan!

Oh by the way it was in Washington DC area the kid he shot was one of a group of pool hoping kids.

As far as I know Carl Rowan is still an anti gun thug!

I believe there was another thread about this same incident. Does anyone know for sure this guy's an anti(other than being a Democrat)? I saw somewhere he was rated an "A" at some point from the NRA, so I'm wondering what the real story is.
There's nothing on the link indicating his stance on the issue.

Looks like he's being accused of molesting a 15 year old boy.
