I found this Antique Colt 1911 photo on the web some time ago.
I thought it was kind of a neat photo. I can't give anybody credit for the pic since...I just saved it in my computer & I honestly don't remember where I found it on the web. It's sort of nice to see it all in one photo. :smile:

I love to see pics like that. That is what I want my grandkids to inherit when I die. Clean, well-maintained, beautiful hardware.

nice 1911. All my guns will be in worn but maintained condition by the time my kids get em.

Great pic QK - and it represents the epitome of Slabsides early days probably.

The whole deal - box, mag's, rig, cleaning kit - love it. History there and JMB would probably smile at seeing such a pic too :smile:

Wish we could see the box lid label :biggrin:
The magazine in the box only appears to be blued on the lower half...I wonder what the reason for that is?
