Just wondering. I have heard for ages, that this gun is one of the most accurate there was to shoot, and with the bullet speeds , etc can be one of the most deadly at distances. Always wondered how much recoil they had, how accurate they really were, etc... or if it was all just hype.

I've shot one although its probably been 20 years or so...it was very LOUD
No recoil to speak of,extremely LOUD and as accurate as any rifle out there.

Trying to find ammo for one can be a challenge, or if you reload finding cases is not easy.

Did I say LOUD?

About 35 years ago a friend had one. He could smoke a groundhog out to about 225 yards off a sand bag. I was shooting a Ruger heavy barrel .22-250.

And yes, the Fireball was MUCH louder.

This is mine...came from the factory with 10.75" barrel. It was accurate as a .221...but I bumped it out to a .223 about 20yrs ago...it is just as accurate and I have no more problems finding brass to reload.

Lots of the .221 Fireball XP100 handguns got "bumped" up to .223 because of ammo availability (nice handgun there Shootn!). Yes, they were accurate. And yes, "fireball" wasn't just...a name. Kaa-BOOOM :ahhhhh:
