Geeeze, you're not even kidding!!! Every time I ask a law official a question about carry laws, I have gotten a different answer EVERY time. They do that just to discourage people from wanting to carry and hope it'll scare more people from getting a license.QKShooter said:Ohio ~ Where even the people who passed and enacted the firearm carry laws do not know what they mean.
Boy, I sure hope Ohio gets itself in order concerning its NEW firearm carry laws.
That State has really clouding up what should have been a simple Right For Good Citizens To Carry.
Now, law~abiding, honest, well intentioned, well meaning Ohio people who DESPERATELY WANT TO COMPLY with the law...Don't Know HOW!
They don't know HOW to follow the law...and are unable to follow the law because the law makes no sense.
That is a pathetic situation.

I carry in a waist pack while on a boat. I've done ankle carry also, but a waistpack seems to work the best, since I don't carry my purse onto a boat but want to take some essentials with me. It doesn't get in the way of a life vest (mandatory on our boat rentals). Maybe a well-sealed plastic baggie or two would be a good idea... considering what hapened to Mrshonts' cellphone when I accidentally tipped him out of the canoe. :sport36:
