If the price of ammo gets increased to quintuple the current cost... there will be far less murders and driveby shootings . "RIGHT ?"
How fast can the lefty commies work on that ?
Seems like it took about a year and half for ammo prices to come back to normal after the last shortage. On the other hand, prices have not gotten as high yet as they did back in 2013 and 2014.
I didn't know they had gone up. I just paid 16.99 for a box of sig sauer 165gr hollow points a week and a half ago... and 21.99 per box of 50 sig sauer 180gr ball ammo in 40....
In the short run, prices will probably stay where they are. Several large ammunition manufacturers have stated that they are increasing prices to bring additional manufacturing capability online. I also think that the scarcity of ammo coupled with high demand means that retailers will probably keep ammo marked up until people are not willing to pay the higher prices. The upcoming election will also be a contributing factor. If Biden wins or looks like he might win, that will keep ammo in short supply for a while.
IMHO there will not be much change until after the start of the new year. Between Covid-19 and the November elections it is all about opinions and hoarding that will rule the market place. Expecting it to be very similar to 2016 election year. Lets wait and see.....
I am not sure how Biden winning the election will affect the cost of ammunition. As the country will be bankrupt in a month, with lots of non-citizens voting, and getting free stuff! So hang on to the ammo you have.
You will need it.
It’s normal today, but two months ago I wouldn’t have considered paying 20 cents per round, not even if it included shipping. If I were to get low on reserves today I would pay it though.

This is prolly more correct than many might think. 5 to 6 months off IMO.
If you have a good Thanksgiving into X-mas season . Great ...God bless all of us here, who strive for that .

If the coming election "goes the right way" the gun owning community will heavy a collective sigh of relief. Relief from elevated ammo prices will soon follow.
No price decreases before November will be seen though and if the election does not go well then ...
