Guy at my LGS thinks it won't. Prices shot up from their supplier when the panic started. We were talking about it just this weekend. When the panic started, they had people in there buying guns, or coming in to pick them up after the wait period. And on the way out, most of these people bought the cheapest or FMJ ammo, and boxes at a time. He said they didn't listen to recommendations for good defensive ammo. They still have plenty of that on the shelves
If prices stay where they are, my hobby just got more expensive.
IMHO there will not be much change until after the start of the new year. Between Covid-19 and the November elections it is all about opinions and hoarding that will rule the market place. Expecting it to be very similar to 2016 election year. Lets wait and see.....
I am not sure how Biden winning the election will affect the cost of ammunition. As the country will be bankrupt in a month, with lots of non-citizens voting, and getting free stuff! So hang on to the ammo you have.
You will need it.
This is prolly more correct than many might think. 5 to 6 months off IMO.
If you have a good Thanksgiving into X-mas season . Great ...God bless all of us here, who strive for that .
If the coming election "goes the right way" the gun owning community will heavy a collective sigh of relief. Relief from elevated ammo prices will soon follow.
No price decreases before November will be seen though and if the election does not go well then ...
