From what I understand about the process, the hardest part is getting the chief of police or county sheriff to sign off on it before you send the app to the BATFE. If where you live allows what you're looking to transfer or build, the BATFE is going to cash your check or money order. Not like they don't want the money, you know? Lol

It still bothers me that suppressors require that stupid tax stamp though. I'd like to be able to go shooting without disturbing the neighbors AND without breaking the bank AND having to wait half a year for permission to do it. :hand1:

Well, you'll never know until you try J Bowen. Sometimes rumor are false, you know? And besides, if he doesn't sign you're only out a little bit of your time, and if he does sign off on it, you're on your way to getting your tax stamp.
