If I had one of these I'd probably sleep with it.

They had an Article in American Rifleman awhile ago. They had thousands of Full Auto Rifles, Frag Grenades, and Kevlar that read "Policia" or"Federale" something like that.

How is any of that coming from the U.S. ??

Oh come on Ret! EVERY gun shop in America has a full display of all the weapons seized in Mexico. Frag grenades, full auto, C4... Just ask your neighborhood lib - they'll tell you. They heard it on TV and you can't say something on the TV unless it's true!:gah::rofl:

Your poll needed another choice, one that included the USA. There can be no doubt that SOME of the seized guns do, in fact, come from the USA.

But it's certainly not the majority, and we certainly don't LEGALLY provide RPG's, hand grenades, machine guns, etc. We are really getting a bum rap for all this. It's a shame...............

Most are coming from South America; a few are being smuggled in from China (usually from south of the equator.) Comparativly few, (very few) are being smuggled in from the U.S.. Those that are, are "street legal" semiautomatics. These are NOT the favorites of the "cartel set."

AKs plated with Aztec gold can be found on the Cheaper Than Dirt website, but they're marked "LE Only." :frown:

A man I respect posted on his site that he'd been in a Mexican city: full auto weapons are the rule, not the exception, and were freely fired into the air to celebrate the nearby wedding, etc.
Full auto.
How in the cotton pickin' can FULL AUTO weapons be brought in from the US???
(Oh, how clumsy of me -- so sorry -- I forgot -- you're right -- the Libs have been telling us about those evil machine guns at your neighborhood gun shop!)

And the M-16's with the attached grenade launchers that I have seen in many of the photos...... I'm sure you can get those at your local US gun store.

I have requested several anti-gun Eric Holder puppets that I have gotten into arguments with to please take me to the local gun stores that sell M-16's with Grenade Launchers and of course I am the crazy gun nut that does not know what he is talking about.

I have no idea. Though, given that such things aren't made in any great quantity in the USA, and the simple fact that no new full-auto guns are allowable outside of the military/police in the USA, it's highly unlikely to be coming from here.

From what I have read and understand about where such things are available, I am assuming the origination is overseas, either directly via relationships with the mfrs or on the black market via any of probably hundreds of potential "dealers" of such things in a dozen countries where regulations are lax and oversight/policing even worse.

But then, the government swears 90% are coming from the USA ... so, they must be right. The poll won't change a thing. They know. :haha:

What I want to know is where they get that cool ram's head "hood ornament" on the AK. Imagine, if they made it part of the gas block, then it could spout steam out the nostrils as it fires. Coooool, dude.
