THINK ABOUT THE FUTURE, not just what you may or may not want on hand for today.
Do you have the pistols, rifles, and shotguns that you would like to have once they are either no longer available or are priced absurdly through the ceiling (don't forget about the Dems taxing firearms and ammo through the ceiling!)? Buy now.
Do you have the quality defensive ammo supply to last you for years to come? How about practice ammo? Practice ammo is for shooting regularly; defensive ammo is for stocking and preserving for the future. Consider that one of the assaults on our freedoms will come in the form of having to register ammunition as we buy it. And it will be taxed HEAVILY! As this economy declines into a long slow melt-down, DEMs will be looking everywhere they can to tax, tax, tax... firearms and ammunition (not to mention so many other items such as luxuries, alcohol, etc.) are likely to be taxed through the roof. Buy now.
Certainly inflation will come sooner or later. Buy now.
This country is changing so quickly that it is difficult to keep up with it. Few Americans even have any idea of the changes that are going on. Most Americans are so preoccupied with their silly little daily activities (Facebook, Twitter, parties, shopping, looking "cool") that they aren't paying ANY attention to what is happening in politics, government, legislation, economics, and international relations. Those of us who do pay attention and work to try to be better prepared for the future will stand a better chance of doing well when this whole mess slowly sags into the quagmire.
When another two, three, or four years passes, I guarantee that you will have far fewer freedoms to acquire the firearms and ammunition than you have today... and if you even can acquire such at that time, it will cost you a LOT more money.
Your best move is to do whatever you can to invest in arms and ammunition for your long-haul. I'd go into debt (not unreasonably so) to do it. Get fully well-situated NOW and then in the future, when things are sure to be changing even more rapidly than they are now, you won't find yourself in a panic/scramble mode to get yourself well-situated. You will be able to sit back and relax in your foresight and preparedness.
Arms and ammunition will become such high value items that most who don't already have them won't be able to acquire them or to afford them. Others who are well-stocked will be able to use them quite powerfully to gain other desired goods and services.
Arms and ammunition will ONLY be more costly to obtain and more difficult (if not impossible) to obtain as we move forward in time. Now is the best pricing and availability you are likely to ever see. I've been thinking and saying this for several years now... it was true several years ago, as it is today. If you didn't square yourself away one, two, three, or more years ago... now is better than later. Best wishes to you and may God bless our country!
