Arm The Ones That You Love

By Chris Chumita

There was a strange reaction from my family and friends when I became engaged to a beautiful and amazing woman on September 16th, 2005. They were happy for me, but they were also amazed that a woman was willing to put up with my idiosyncrasies for the rest of her life. However, what really shocked them was what I got her for our one year anniversary of dating - a handgun.

If you love someone - you want to protect them and also ensure they have their own means of protection.

It figures :smilez:

Ditto That

I agree as long as some basic safety education (formal or informal) is included with the gift.

I have a friend that got his wife the anniversary gift of her dreams, a wheel gun in .357 Mag.

Awsome thread.

I could not agree more with the above postings. I want to arm my wife. The problem is after showing her pics of the Guardian Pistol line she won't settle for anything else.

The actual problem is the Guardian is so damn hard to find!

There was strange reaction from my in-laws when I married my wife years ago and the first time they visited us she produced her ccw permit and her two personal carry weapons. Kimber Ultra Tactical and Taurus PT-111 limited edition. Now this is not so strange here in Alabama...but my wife and in-laws are Canadian...can you say eh?
