I'd want to do it with an old M1 Garand w/ leather sling, one bandoleer and a 1911 in a tanker shoulder holster. In honor of my Dad, a Korean War vet. A newer pair of combat boots though...there softer. The camel pack for water is a good idea above. I 'd be much slower but it can be done imho. Chiropractor waiting at the finish line with a cold beer of course...
