I think is very bad idea to attend protests armed open carrying and especially carrying rifles.

If you think you may have to defend yourself with a gun, best stay home. But if you go armed, keep your weapon concealed.

The new administration is just looking for ways to reduce 2A rights. And trying to intimidate legislators and government officials by brandishing weapons will only get more restrictions piled on us.

What are you really planning to do with your AR? Shoot a bunch of fellow Americans who disagree with you? I certainly will not do that, and I doubt many DC people will either.

Ironically, Antifa came out in favor of Lobby Day last year, in a big way. They were pro-2A and anti-Gov. Northam. We had no direct contact with them, but they were there and they behaved.

Trouble more often comes to those who go looking for it. There is talk of a lot of things, most of which will probably not happen. When I was in the military, we only went looking for trouble when we were trained, equipped and organized to wipe it out. Individuals failing about are not effective.

Sorry, I was misunderstood. The 22,000+ event we had last year they supported, attended and did not disrupt. They made no move to create a fiasco. I am no fan of Antifa, but I recognize that there is a slight intersection in their interests and ours. They are not tools of the Democrats. I think if anything, the Dems are as scared of them as we are.
