50 million? The Army has too much of our money.

There's a lot of spare parts and logistical support baked into that $50M, not to mention $6M worth of glass. Actually pretty cheap as far as military weapons systems go. I'd guess unit cost would be under $10K. The training for snipers who use 'em will cost a lot more.

Maybe get a deal on the old, outdated models. 😁
It would be cool if they sold those off as surplus! Hey, they started out as guns for the civilian market, minor tweaks made for the military. But I'm sure some Chipman or Mommies Demand Attention type will label them "weapons of war."

Well it is a lot of money....errr tax dollars..... but I'd love to have one. Imagine switching back and forth between .338 Norma Mag to .308 Winchester.

I would rather see my tax dollars going to our warriors to arm them with the best equipment in the world than spend a dime on reparations, and the rest of the Marxist agenda. I hope they turn out to be everything our sniper's want them to be.
Happy Hunting.
