I'm thinking it is time to load the LEO's magazines with something other than Non-Lethal projectiles and start clearing out the trash when they show up!
If there is no respect for law and order then by god there needs to be some fear!

I've always lived by a simple code, I work hard to be Respected, but I'd rather be feared than liked.

Funny how a "peaceful protest" is defined these days. I'll bet if gunowners were protesting gun laws in that manner we wouldn't be called peaceful - we'd be called "inmates".

Predictions on next week's headlines:

Every Aurora police employee eligible for retirement has filed for immediate retirement benefits. Those not eligible for normal retirement are represented by attorneys demanding full retirement benefits based on disability caused by employment related stress. Aurora police officers calling off sick daily, requesting mental health treatment for PTSD related to working conditions, attorneys retained to force disability retirement benefits for those officers who have been subjected to severe physical and emotional stress in the line of duty. 9-1-1 dispatch operators reporting response times to emergency calls in the Aurora area have exceeded 24 hours due to lack of staffing while dozens of officers await psychological treatment. Officers reportedly refuse to appear in public while in uniform due to death threats and physical assaults. Marked police vehicles are being abandoned in the streets surrounding residences of the mayor and city council members.

A few snipers on the roof, a megaphone telling them to disperse immediately or risk being shot, countdown to shooting, open fire.

Drop 10 or 20 and the rest will flee. If they don't, do it again.

We should be past treating these terrorists with kid gloves.

I might suggest this kind of situation is better settled by folks on the outside, not wearing badges, taking care of the "protesters", than by police officers trapped on the inside.
Unfortunately, I relate that scenario to interfering in domestic violence situations where the victim ends up attacking the person who was trying to save her.

We thought the authoritarian leftists would use police to enforce their anti human rights agenda. Turns out they can neuter police and send the progressive mob to do it.

Which of you predicted the police would, overall, side with the rights of the people?

Why have city leaders allowed all of this to get so far out of hand? (That's a rhetorical question) The question is, when are they going to see the light and take command of the situation?
If they are Democrat-aligned, I would not believe they actually want to reign it in until after the elections; if it goes there way, as this chaos is being used against Trump, they will have a great chance of effecting their Socialist Agenda and no longer need these weaponized activists (pronounced terrorists ); if Trump manages to win, they will likely go full rage mode until the Federal Gov reigns them in. So, in the meantime, it's likely to continue up to a level that the Federal Government can act... and given our Supreme Court's current inability to read the Constitution that level is difficult to read.

And then you have the other side of the issue, which further fans the flames, where liberal City/State Attorneys want to prosecute those who acted in self-defense because they cannot discern what Private Property is, or what is factually Peaceful Assembly.

“There wasn’t a rush to come in move people out. The officers were safe inside. We wanted to give the people the ability to express their First Amendment right, to protest, peacefully assemble and make their voices heard, so we didn’t have an immediate rush to go in and clear people out. Waiting a little bit longer, the crowd size became smaller, so we had an advantage,” Longshore said.

Protestors barricaded streets with anything they could find.

Sources tell FOX31 officers found homemade weapons, and gas cans stashed in the surrounding area. Officer Longshore confirmed: “We found gas cans, full of gasoline that were staged in that immediate area.”

Longshore is an IDIOT.

THAT is not peaceful.
If ya'll didn't have an IDIOT Governor...
I wrote in to my Republican Congressman, highlighting BLM's involvement in organizing and instigating the violence to achieve a racist Pro-Black Only political objective, and asking to have BLM declared a terrorist organization (as they meet the FBI's definition of it). The reply from his office was that same "Peaceful Assembly", that must be supported, BS. It's becoming the quintessential situation where the Adults have to take drastic action to protect adolescents from their own destructive behavior... as well as protecting the innocent.

Sets a terrible precedent. Like police station takeover in Seattle.
