I like the Harries, but it sure gets awkward when pie-ing the "wrong" hand corners. But when you compare the Harries to the Rogers, you should notice that the Harries positions the light to one side of the body while Rogers essentially centers the light on your COM.
I just read about an officer going into a dark structure and the BG shot at him. Guess where the shot landed? It struck the flashlight and his arm. He was hit but able to continue the fight. Had the flashlight been in the Rogers position, the hit would have likely been disabling and perhaps fatal.
