On various threads here, I've seen some pretty cool ideas.

Some people use an El Cheapo nylon holster (Uncle Mike's, BlackHawk, Some No-Name, etc.) and bolt it to the side or underside of the frame. Some find powerful magnets like those in an old speaker destined for the garbage, and mount that to the side of the bed. The gun just sticks to it and will stay there until (God forbid) the unthinkable occurs.

I guess the point is that while you can find pre-made products all over the web, sometimes the best (and cheapest) route is the DIY way.

Hope this helps!

search the net for some. after you see what for sale you can make your own from items that you have around the house. or just put it under your pillow.

A search for "mattress holster" finds a good number of previous discussions. Many of them have links and pics, regarding products and some home-made items that people use to secure a gun.

I had one of these no name mattress holsters that worked pretty well.

I used the plastic holster I got with my XD45 and tied it around the bed frame with some 550 paracord, works great.
