Just me, but that's too close to Mexican carry for my comfort.
I carry my Berami equipped snub in a suede pocket holster in back pockets for decades. Back in the 70's when working the streets, I did use the Berami up on the belt as it's designed. With the grip on the snub, I can carry it the way it was designed [ and have ] and in back pockets with the suede softshell protecting the trigger.

In this manner, it can be carried AIWB, Strong side IWB, either back pocket but left pocket will be cav draw [ and it's a fast presentation that way with less elbow articulation ].

IOW, the snub becomes a "floating" gun on my person and can be moved from one location to another based on circumstances simply because the grip becomes the holster. Never gave the grip without trigger protection a second thought AIWB or strong side.

I prefer a pocket holster. Seems safer in regard to trigger protection as well as secure retention.
I'm in charge of retention, not my holsters nor the hip grip
