Could someone suggest a good range bag? I've found this one, but they are sold out: Andean firearms & gun accessory store: Magnum gear bag, Sh. Ridge

thanks!

BagMaster has some nice stuff...got mine there...:yup:
BAGMASTER - Quality Bags, Cases and Holsters
MidwayUSA Competition Range Bag You can find it here.

Two of my range buddies have this bag! After close inspection, I had to have one too! It has been the best bag I've ever had for the range! It is larger than you think, it should handle everything you could possibly want in a range bag. Read some of the reviews on the website, there are 236 of 'em. There's even a product video of it on the website as well.

It lists for $59.99 and shows that price on the website. I just got my monthly newsletter in the mail today and shows it on sale for $39.99 from 9/25/09 until 10/31/09.

All three of us got ours at the sale price and it is a bargain!
I have a few but this is my main bag:
GunMate Range Bag Nylon Black - MidwayUSA

Very sturdy and holds a lot of stuff. Can't beat the price either.
For me the best I have ever used are these guys at Hafner. I used their bags all through my USPSA days when I was shooting on the circuit, they cut no corners on quality whatsoever. If you are looking for a bag to truly last a lifetime, Hafner is second to none.......

Awesome thanks medic...this might be the one!
I second the Midway bag. I've had mine for over 5 years and it is one well built bag. Honestly, it's heavier built than a lot of luggage I've seen. Every load bearing area is heavily stitched and it has a removable carry strap with stainless steel rings. I'm happy that they are, seeing as most everything else is plastic these days.

I've loaded mine with 100rds 12g, 6 boxes 9mm, 2 boxes .38SPL, plus all the ancillary gear of ear pro, eye-pro, first aid kit, stapler, tape, markers, small cleaning kit, targets, and I STILL have room. I carried it this way slung over my shoulder, and nothing tore or let loose.

By the way, I am in no way affiliated with Midway, I just think this has got to be the best range bag around and at a VERY good price.
After I bought three range bags, I took the advice I saw like this and bought the Midway bag. It's high quality, plenty big, lots of compartments, and only $39.95.

You'll thank us later.
How 'bout the $10 remington bag that most Walmarts carry?
This may sound kinda' strange, but the best, most used, most useful Range Bag that I own (of about EIGHT choices!) is a heavy-duty Stanley Tool Bag from Lowes. Lots of pockets, anvil tough, rigid poly bottom, comfortable handles & shoulder strap, when opened the top stays open, and it attracts almost NO unwanted attention. They're black with yellow trim & costs less than $30. Give 'em a look.

Thanks for the tip medic! I was looking for one of these. Reviews look great, and it's on sale. Purchasing one today! :image035:

I have one and it works fine for me. It's a touch small but for 1 or 2 (max) pistols, I dont need anything else. When I go to the range, it's usually to shoot my EDC so the bag only contains muffs, safety glasses, ammo, bore snake and a small can of Break-Free. I can still get another pistol in it if need be. It's really all I need. I think I paid less than 20 bux for mine.

As others have said, the Midway bag is probably the best money you'll ever spend for a range bag, especially when it's on sale. I have two of them and they are tough, durable, have pockets galore and come with extras. If there's any difference (other than a logo) between the Midway bag and the 5.11 Tactical bag for $119.99, I can't see it. Get the Midway bag and buy ammo with the extra $80.00.

Eagle Industries :: Bags :: Gear Bags :: Deluxe Pro Shooter Bag and Insert

This is what I carry and I love it.

The insert has 2 pistol pouches
The dividers are removable and adjustable and each is made like a small pocket (Great for ear plugs, pens, holster allen keys, batteries, etc)

It currently has m cleaning kit in the front pocket (Hoppes Deluxe Kit)
2 pairs of ears and eyes, earplugs, 2 pistols, 500 rds of 9mm, 50 rds of .38, 150 rds or .17hm2, 2 mag pouches, 4 pens, 4 AA batteries, target pasters, orange spots, rim fire targets in a folder, 2 speed loaders, binoculars, tape, glow sticks, staples and a stapler, a baseball cap, a lighter, a few tools in a pouch, a pocket knife, extra mags and I'm sure there is more.

I'm sure it could still easily hold my rain gear and a few hundred more rds. There is still 4 inches of headspace in the bag and I can reach in and pull anything out without digging.

It is expensive but it is a great bag.
