I recently bought a BHP. Now I need to find a good leather holster for it. I am looking for a OWB with a slightly lower ride, thumb snap closure. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Heirloom Precision

Bulman Gunleather, as shown in the above link, although the model shown doesn't have a thumb break. But enjoy the eye candy!

For a more mass-produced holster that won't have a long turnaround time, I suggest a DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard. I have their equivalent in a paddle style for my Sig 220, and the ride height isn't ridiculously high. The trigger sits right about at belt height.

I agree with the FIST recommendation above. Also, Brommeland if you decide to go IWB.

BHP is my current handgun love affair.

Kydex & GLOCK are a perfect match. But a Hi-Power undoubtedly deserves to ride in the well-constructed, well-tanned hide of an animal! Horse, cow, alligator or shark, this is a law.
