I haven't caught up on the supposed reason but has every appearance of a double/super hot charge of fast powder. A squib with lodged bullet followed by second shot would usually cause just barrel bulge damage and not a rupture of chamber wall. Hammer it back in-round and Tig it shut, the other 5 are good to go! :biggrin: (Yes, I am kidding, but only Ruger would hold together that well after something that catastrophic)
