Used to be good at starting it back with the trigger on my Model 60 then pulling it back with my thumb...easy and quick...but now that I'm a USED to be...I doubt I'd do that unless it was a loooooooooooong shot...or I didn't have my spurred backup...neither likely and at my age and strength level, probably not a wise course. Younguns should know how and get good at cocking AND decocking a de-spurred revolver.I would not change a revolver to DAO.

I've bobbed the hammer on two 637s and an old model 36 (2 MIMs on the 637s). No problems. You need a dremel and some 1000 grit sand paper for the final smooth finish.
