Actor and comedian Jay Mohr waded into the gun debate on Twitter after Monday’s deadly terrorist attacks at the Boston Marathon.

“What bothers me most about today is that we’re getting used 2 it. ENOUGH. 2nd amendment must go. Violence has 2 stop. Culture MUST change,” the Jerry Maguire actor tweeted Monday night.

Are we de-evolving as a people? I get that this is a horrid tragedy and would not wish his on anyone, so emotions will be high. But one of the many items that separates humans from other animals is our ability to control our emotions. This is that thin line between society and civilization. Packs and prides are societies with a social order, but they are still wild and uncivilized. What we are seeing is the effects of a civilization in decline as more and more of our fellow humans revert to emotionally driven, animalistic primitives. This is becoming disturbing.

Using one's head and logic, we need to be asking WHY these murderers do what they do so we can eventually deal with them and hopefully stop them before they act as we learn more about the mindset and identify it early. Aurora, Newtown, and Boston, if you're not wanting to know WHY, then you probably do not care. Insert liberals and Democrats here.

Lastly, how would not having the 2nd Amendment or firearms stop someone from putting ball bearings, nails, and other shrapnel in a pressure cookery and rigging it to blow in a public place?
