There is an art to being a passionate speaker without turning an objective subject into an emotional issue (i.e. fire and brimstone, fear, gloom and doom sermon). There are subjects which should be emotional issues, and you may decide that this is one or at least certain parts of it that should be (that seems reasonable). I find that when discussing guns, people respond well to reason, logic and rationale (I'm a financial executive, so that is my nature and professional approach). Some folks view emotional responses not as calm, cool, and collected. If you want to portray CCP holders as analytical, logical, rational people who exercise prudence and good judgement in exercising their rights and responsibilities, your presentation approach should exude those same qualities. If your subject is an emotional issue (religion, abortion, politics, etc.) then your presentation approach should exude those emotional qualities. Just my opinion based on years of experience...my opinion and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee...maybe.
