Sister, you and the Chief need to know that there are several other drugs which could be of some help, for chronic pain.
None of them is on the "prohibited-drug list."
But you need to see a rheumatologist (pain specialist), because they are all prescription-only.

Strange to say, even mere Tylenol can be helpful, if you take enough of it, often enough.

See a rheumatologist, please.
@M1911A1;

Friend, I cannot take those drugs your speaking of and I’m way to familiar with them and THEY WILL KILL ME. An RA doctor cannot help me, ask the past 7 in the past 10 years I have seen. I have Ehlers-Danlos, google it! 😊

The prohibited drug list was made by politicians, don’t have time to go there now. My body cannot take pharma drugs I’m allergic to them.

Thanks for trying to help, always appreciated when someone helps!

Unfortunately you are correct according to the pharmacist. CWOUSCG’s back has been killing him and chiropractor isn’t really helping anymore. Wish he could taker it too however there is a very small amount of THC in it and from what she said some test would tell, some not because of the small amount.

Not enough to where I’d risk losing my job over it. We will have to wait until he retires but that isnt too much longer. I HONESTLY did not think the CBD alone would work this well. I’m amazed.

No anxiety, never felt so calm either.....where’s my black light and posters?
I was told there is no THC in it as it come from the hemp and not marijuana. In fact they had to add a little THC to my wives. Maybe that is why mine does not do squat. But then I am drug tested and this did not show up.

I tried CBD oil a few times for my arthritis neck pain and unfortunately it made me sick to my stomach.

My doctor did have me try the generic of cymbalta that has been working real well. Although, it does give me some qualms over what happens if gun controllers start targeting medications. I’m not taking it for depression but it is an anti-depressant also and it does have a black label warning.

Anti-depressants are used for a variety of conditions other than depression.

I know they are, but at the same time at some point I wouldn’t be surprised if gun controllers started trying to use the fact that a person is on an anti-depressant or a medication black labelled due to “increased risk of suicidal thinking and behavior” as an excuse to take gun rights away from that person.

@StripesDude;

I take my meds like I cook; use some, then some more if needed. (Truth)

Here are pics of what I have, what it says on the sides, what it cost and a link on the bottle as to where it came from. I got it at a privately owned pharmacy called a compounding pharmacy. Was told by the pharmacist and a person at a CBD store that the “full spectrum” is the one to get and it is what I have.

See pics below:

So this stuff is the strongest, I shake it up and squirt half-whole dropper full under my tongue then wait 30 min to an hour. A whole droppper full will guarantee me a nap lol!

Heads up, to me the flavored was terrible, went with the unflavored. It taste like pot...so I’m told

Honestly, it’s been about a week now and I’ve slept great every night. Haven’t seen sleep like this in years!

Maybe I’m taking two much. You’re taking 12mg, I’m taking 37mg. I’ll try a lower dose.

Thanks to ObamaCare all your records are electronic and they are sharing them. The way the red flag laws are going I would not be surprised if they start confiscating anyone's guns who have a prescription to any of the cymbalta type drugs.

Old vet I’m going to be a smart donkey and use your post to make a point. Anti-depressants are used for a variety of ways that pharmaceuticals can make a lot of money, I believe someone told me that Cymbalta and Lyrica run around $600 a month? Somebody is making a killing....and speaking of killing, this reminds me of the list of folks that were prolly nice folks to begin with but the doctors NEVER TESTED their serotonin levels. Want to know how I know this - do your own homework, ask anyone who has taken them if their doctor tested them first for their level of serotonin? NO and NO, nobody I have ever met or heard of got tested first.

Guess what...to much will poison a person. Folks are safer with opioids (no not pushing them, again, making a point). Opioids don’t make ppl crazy and kill other people.

I WILL BE ONE THAT WILL REQUEST THAT PPL THAT ARE ON ANTIDEPRESANTS DO NOT CARRY A GUN OR DRIVE A CAR OR OPERATE A CROC POT!

Here’s why, read the list - ALL OF THEM WERE ON ANTIDEPRESANTS! If you like your guns, ban antidepresants cause they are the problem!

Antidepressants turn ppl into killing machines, I believe this. Damn things should be illegal! 😠

list: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/07/25/antidepressants-linked-murders-murderous-thoughts/

This list is of the past 20 years with names and what all they were on; https://www.naturalnews.com/039752_mass_shootings_psychiatric_drugs_antidepressants.html

Found a link to the kind of CBD I’m using, however they don’t have any as quite as strong but close, the 9mg would be good.

I would have never bought this but the pharmacist was giving samples. She gave a young man a different container than she gave me and I think I got some stronger stuff. It wasn’t as strong as this I have now and it worked!

Sleep is a beautiful thing! Have not slept like this since 1990’s and those were alcohol induced.

If someone wants the stronger stuff PM me and I’ll give you the name of the pharmacy to order it. The 12mg I got was the same price of the 9mg, within an few dollars. I do believe the 9mg would kick butt, stronger than the sample.

CBD is for people who can't face up to weed! :22a:

Nope, CBD is for people that live in over regulated ignorant run states that refuse to pass sensible laws.

RE: Crime rates in now legal mmj cities.

Folks please don’t use the FBI for a reference, those poor souls are all going to jail for lying to everyone (if laws for the common man are the same for the elite in Washington). I’d trust a Cheech and Chong video before I’d believe anything coming from the FBI’s pie hole!

Numerous hits with articles on how crime has not raised due to mmj, I can find them and I do have all day :image035:

We found that the actual crime rates in medical marijuana cities generally move closely with the synthetic cities. This suggests no substantial effect on both violent and property crime. The results remain similar when we look at specific crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and theft.
Our findings show that we can safely rule out that medical marijuana laws and the associated marijuana use cause increased crime. The strong correlation between marijuana use and criminal activity is mostly spurious.

Legalising medical marijuana shows no effect on crime rates in US states

If they were high at the time of the accident then that means something. But this stuff stays in the system - so I’m not surprised more people are testing positive for something that is now legal. Doesn’t mean they were driving impaired.

Is CBD just for sleep or can it ease persistent pain? My wife has non-specific body pain that Doctors have called fibromyalgia. Doctors have no idea as to cause or mitigation. Maybe CBD can help?

Sister's not here right now but yes, it can help.

ETA: I just saw you're in Denver. You have a lot more options than most of the country. Go down to one of the dispensaries and ask about edibles with low thc/high CBD.
