CCW permit dependant on valid driver's license?

I know that I should know this but....if one's driver's license is suspended, will that affect your CCW license? (details of suspention in 'Off Topic & Humor Discussions')
I better read my rule book again.

If CCW valid and current then I'd reckon no effect at all. If renewing then also I'd hope no problem, as long as some photo ID available.... old licence even.
