Contrary to popular belief, all semi auto pistols are “unsupported” regardless of advertising. Some may have more or less support than others, but they all have some amount of unsupported area.

A portion of the case can be exposed. As long as the web is covered, you're OK.

"Full", no. Most concern about case support is due to unsupported brass hanging out over the barrel throat. The critical area at top of the feed ramp where it meets the case, is in shadow in your photos but from what I can see, the Canik appears to have adequate case head support. Guns like Kimber, HK P7, the little Marlin Camp 9 carbine, etc. have the best case head support I have seen. The worst I can recall, was my Colt Delta 10MM.

You should check out the garbage walther is promoting there as a better stepped chamber in there 9mm PDP duty pistol line up that will allow less than high quality to cycle just fine . Hum , 9mm already has a tappered case so maybe ammo companies should produce a better product ? I better reloaders will hate this new walthers .
