I looked at one of these the other day and its had a really nice fit and finish to it,its action was very smooth as well. To tell the truth I was impressed overall with this little snubby. Does anyone here have one the new production Charter Arms undercover models and if so how had it performed? The model I looked at was the stainless steel model with an exposed hammer.

I don't have an undercover, but I have an off duty (internal hammer), 2 .44 spcl. Bulldogs, and a .327 mag. They are all new production, and they have all been flawless. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any current production Charter firearm.

These are darn fine revolvers. The fit and finish are very good, and the actions are amazingly smooth. They are a 'best buy' in revolvers. I don't currently need one in 38 Special, but when the wallet isn't quite so anorexic, a .44 will be my new best friend.

I've got one that I think is just shy of the newest production since it says Charter 2000 on the side of the barrel. I haven't had any issues with mine and I have a few hundred rounds through it with a decent share +P which is my carry ammo. I swapped out the hammer to a spurless DAO one and put on Barami Hip Grips along with a Tyler T-grip. It's a sweet carry gun.
