I have my CCW class coming up in a couple weeks and I'm supposed to have a holster. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a cheap holster that would suffice just for the class - I'm taking my time to decide on a regular carry holster.

This is for a Keltec PF-9

Random:

The vendor Packin' Heat Leather carries a large inventory, including Galco and Bianchi. Several of their Pocket, IWB and Belt Slide holsters are fairly inexpensive. I've ordered from them previously and had the item arrive within three days. A good option, if you can't fine anything in a store near you.

You can take a heavy piece of string and tie it in a circle, then loop it thru your belt and run it back thru itself creating a loop, stick your gun barrel thru the loop and shove it inside your pants, voila a "thong holster".Only in an emergency, the trigger is not covered

voila a "thong holster"
If I were taking a CCW class where the instructor allowed any such nonsense to pass for a required holster...I would immediately find a different CCW class & instructor.

Uncle Mikes if you need it fast. They are low price and should be available at various places in town.

If you have a little time, the Ace Case that was listed. But if you have that much time, I'd suggest looking at a Galco. Decent quality that you might actually use more than just for this class. I wouldn't recommend an Uncle Mikes or Ace Case for regular use, unless it's a pocket holster.

The Fobus would be a decent option for a class. Even though I hate them.

I had to subscribe, so that I can come back and peruse all the options that were put out here!

I went with the Ace Case for now, as I don't know for sure if I can get to a gun shop before my class, and it was the cheapest one that I could be certain would be here on time. Thanks for all the suggestions - and I'll definitely be taking a closer look at them in the future!
